Brawl Stars Update Overview: June 2025

The latest Brawl Stars update, arriving soon after today, June 24, 2025, introduces significant reworks to progression systems, new Brawlers, Hypercharges, and the return of a popular event.

Trophy Road Rework

The Trophy Road has received a major overhaul, now themed around Starr Park.

Starr Park Worlds

• Progress through different "Trophy Worlds" inspired by areas in Starr Park, each representing three Brawler trios.
• The update launches with the Town Square and Retropolis worlds, with more planned for future updates.
• You can earn rewards from undiscovered worlds as you progress.

Progression & Rewards

• The Trophy Road has been extended from 70,000 to 100,000 Trophies.
• Rare and Super Rare Brawlers can now only be unlocked via the Trophy Road, not with Gems.
• Rewards have been significantly increased, incorporating rewards from the old Masteries system and adding new types.
• New rewards include:
  • Legendary Starr Drops
  • Hypercharge Starr Drops
  • Mythic Starr Drops
  • Starr Drops
  • Power Points
  • Coins
  • Credits
  • Bling
• Any unclaimed rewards from the old Trophy Road, including missed Brawlers, will be automatically collected upon update release.

Records System (Replacing Masteries)

Masteries have been replaced by a new achievement system called Records.

What are Records?

• Records are goals you complete while playing, ranging from easy to challenging (e.g., Win X games, Heal Y health, specific game mode actions).
• They unlock at 350 Trophies.
• Rewards include Starr Drops, unique cosmetic rewards, and Legendary Starr Drops for harder achievements.

Record Points & Levels

• Completing Records earns Record Points, which contribute to your total Record Score.
• A higher Record Score increases your Record Level.
• There are 10 Record Levels at launch, granting unique Battle Cards.
• Your highest Record Level is displayed in your Profile, and reaching a new level notifies your Club.

Masteries Transition

• The "Win X Games with a Brawler" Masteries have been directly replaced by Records.
• The final 3 Records per Brawler grant the cosmetic rewards (including titles) previously available through Masteries.
• Resource rewards from Masteries have been moved to the new Trophy Road and Starr Drops within the Records system.
• Unclaimed Mastery rewards will be delivered with the update.
• The Mastery Icon on Battle Cards is replaced by the Ranked Icon.

New Hypercharges

Nine Brawlers are receiving new Hypercharges:

• Lumi: Drum Solo - Final Super explosion has extra blasts on both sides.
• Doug: Fast Food - Revive buff causes ally to mimic Doug's main attack when he attacks.
• Kit: Making Biscuits - On enemy: stuns but Kit can move/attack normally. On friendly: heals more, yarnballs have longer range.
• R-T: 360-Degree Surveillance - Damaging security lasers surround R-T and his legs after Hypercharged Super.
• Chuck: Full Steam Ahead - Unlimited range on next dash, leaves damaging steam clouds.
• Shade: The Frightener - Attacks during Hypercharged Super deal maximum damage regardless of hit location.
• Moe: The Big Cheese - Driller has longer range and lasts longer.
• Draco: Fire and Flames - Dragon breathes more flames in a wider area with longer range.
• Bonnie: Daredevil - Stuns enemies when firing/landing from Clyde, spits damaging teeth.

Two New Brawlers

Meet the two new Brawlers joining the roster:

Alli (Mythic Assassin)

• The shy mechanic from the Love Swamp.
• Trait: Becomes enraged and gains movement speed when tracking an enemy with less than full health.
• Main Attack: Swamp Swipe - Dashes forward, swiping. Leaps instead from bush/water. Range scales with movement speed.
• Super: Stalker - Gains pulsing invisibility, reveals enemies briefly. Next main attack deals increased damage based on enemy's health (more damage vs higher health).
• Gadgets/Star Powers: Lizard Limbs (faster health regen while enraged out of combat), You Better Run, You Better Take Cover (faster reload while enraged), Feed the Gators (next main attack heals for 100% damage dealt), Cold-Blooded (become enraged for 6 secs, requires visible enemy).

Trunk (Epic Tank)

• A mechanical tree controlled by hyper-intelligent ants.
• Main Attack: Ant Attack! - Spins after delay, damaging enemies and dropping ants. Standing near ants boosts Trunk's movement speed and damage. Edge of attack deals more damage.
• Super: Driven by Revenge (and Ants) - Propels at enemies, dropping ants. Can bounce off walls.
• Gadgets/Star Powers: New Insect Overlords (ants reduce enemy damage), Colony Scouts (ants give bush vision), For the Queen! (instantly spreads ants in large area), Worker Ants (heals from next source of damage taken briefly).

Angels & Demons Event Returns

The Angels & Demons event is back for two 12-day runs in July and August.

Event Mechanics

• Access Angelic and Demonic Skills that grant new abilities.
• This time, all Skills are unlocked from the start.
• Combine up to 3 Skills using Skill Slots.
• Start with 1 Skill Slot unlocked; unlock 2 more by opening Angelic or Demonic Starr Drops.
• Skill Slots glow when powers have specific synergies.
• Earn Angelic & Demonic Starr Drops through Daily Play rewards, Quests, and Contests.
• Event skins can drop even if you don't own the Brawler.
• Track unlocked skins via the event hub.
• Spirit Wars and Soul Collector game modes return.

Event Skins

• Angelic Drops: Blessed Buster (Epic), Ascended 8-BIT (Epic), Martyr Meg (Epic).
• Demonic Drops: Infernal Fang (Epic), Hellbull (Mythic), Grim Gus (Epic).
• Previously available Angels vs. Demons skins also obtainable.
